Hello!
.jpg)
I'm Kylie, and I'm a photojournalist based in southeastern Massachusetts. You can find a map of my distances from nearby, major cities below.
I'm drawn to photojournalism because of an innate curiosity to understand our world and the people in it. I hope to find the extraordinary in ordinary life and show that everyone has a story worth sharing. As a Chinese adoptee, themes of belonging, identity and place are central to my storytelling.
This January, I completed my fall photo internship with The Seattle Times. Before that, I was the summer photo fellow at The Texas Tribune.
In May 2022, I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in communication. I'm a proud member of Asian American Journalists Association and Diversify Photo Up Next.
I'm available and eager to travel for assignment and assisting in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New England.
You can find my resume here.
